Pillow fill determines whether the surface feels buoyant, contouring, airy or firmly packed. AKEMI’s silk pillow wraps breathable natural silk around a compact memory-fibre core, while natural latex retains its shape and can provide two firmness levels or a contoured neck profile. Visco-elastic memory foam responds more slowly and moulds to the head, with selected designs incorporating bamboo charcoal, hydrogel or aloe vera. Microfibre creates a lighter, down-like loft and can be washable, whereas natural cotton provides firmer, moisture-absorbent support.
